Hi, happened to stumble (so to speak) on this journal. The glass half empty view: I destroyed my ankle last November stepping off a porch that I thought was six inches off the ground, but was really 5-6 feet. The glass half full view: The boxwood shrubs at the bottom turned what could have been a crush injury into a mere trimalleolar fracture with extensive soft tissue damage. In addition, I resprained it a few weeks ago doing more than I should have. So I'm just now ditching the crutches and the boot. My yoga instructor suggested I sit down and have a dialogue with my ankle to find out what it wants. I didn't kill him. He was too fast.
